Beverly Hills Guided Segway Tour

Segway3-juliewrightlandcompany

Interesting to take a “tourist’s” tour of our areas and learn the inside information of places we see all the time in our everyday lives.

Always beautiful to go through Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills…and even more exhilirating on wheels 8 feet tall on a segway!

Also fun to see people’s toys – the Casdens’ have a train track that makes a full perimeter around their property with a working locomotive that travels on the tracks (above).

Interesting to learn there are three houses in Beverly Hills that are open to public tour for a small fee and by appointment. There are three homes you can tour. One is the Virginia Robinson Gardens.

The estate features an iconic mansion, filled with countless treasures, and most famously—six sloping acres of lavish gardens that will envelop you with their beauty. Built in 1911, the Robinson mansion was one of the first homes in Beverly Hills. Known for hosting the areas most legendary parties—it was not uncommon to catch famed individuals entering and leaving the estate. Today, the garden is recognized as being not only a historical landmark, but also as an exotic paradise that all sightseers are invited to enjoy.

Another is the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation where more than 400 works of art are on display!

Frederick R Weisman was an extraordinary entrepreneur, philanthropist, and art collector. In carrying out Mr. Weisman’s intentions, the Foundation seeks to preserve, collect, and make publicly accessible his collection of modern and contemporary art as a means to strengthen and contribute to the greater artistic and intellectual life of our time.

The third tour you can do is the Greystone Mansion and Park, which we previously blogged about here: Greystone Mansion
