Our trip to the east coast was magical! Even though everyone laughed, I had to order one of everything intriguing on the menu for all of us (Seth, me, 2 sons, 2 daughters in law) to share and taste at Yakov’s 30th birthday dinner! Seth and I loved driving carpool to pick up Eliyahu, age 4, from school. I got out of the car and Eliyahu jumped up + down and told his teacher, “THAT’S MY GRANDMA!” and he ran with arms stretched wide for a huge “squeezy” hug! When we got back from taking Eliyahu and Nechama for hot dogs, 2 yr old Nechama reported, “Grandma got me chicken nuggets in a pizza store!” Seth and I loved spending the day in NYC with Avigail + Chaim, riding all the escalators + elevators from the ground floor to the ninth floor in Saks Fifth Avenue, walking the bustling decorated streets past the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center, and marveling at the displays + toy demonstrations in FAO Schwartz! NYC is always enchanting, more so in December with wide-eyed exuberant company! Even though Seth and I are still adjusting to empty nesting, it is fun to always be counting down the days until our next trip to visit all the people far away who we love with our whole heart and soul!

Interest rates went down some! Citi is advertising 30 year fixed rates (before relationship discounts) at 6.375 and ARMS at 5.875. Now is the last licks to buy a property with a loan in 2024!
