Fresh Fruit Compote🍓:

Ingredients:

12 cortland (Spartan) apples peeled
10 bosc/bartlett pears peeled
6/8 of each peaches, nectarines and plums NOT
Peeled

2 bags of frozen strawberries

2 cans of sweet pitted cherries with the juice

1 1/2 c of sugar

Squeeze 2 lemons

Instructions:

Cut all the fruit into small/medium sized pieces and add to pot
Add water to cover the fruit
Add strawberries and pitted cherries
Add cup and half of sugar
Cook on a low flame for 2 1/2 hours

add lemon juice

Taste, and adjust sweetness to your  preferance!
