Weekend Adventure: Kayak the Santa Cruz Sea Caves!
While most people know about Santa Catalina Island, many people are unaware about the beautiful Channel Islands just north of LA. Santa Cruz Island in particular is known for having breathtaking sea caves; in fact one of the largest sea caves in the world, Painted Cave, can be found on this island.
There are multiple kayak tours on the Island, or if you are feeling adventurous you can simply rent a kayak and explore on your own. Be prepared to see lots of sea lions, starfish, dolphins, and potentially whales!
