Baked Salmon with Dijon-Dill Sauce & Lemon

Ingredients:

For the Salmon:

1 full fillet of salmon

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Garlic powder, to taste

Paprika, to taste

 

For the Sauce:

1.5 tbsp sugar

1.5 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)

1–2 tsp Dijon mustard

1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

A dash of oil (olive or neutral)

2 tsp salt

4 cloves garlic, minced

For Garnish:

1 lemon, thinly sliced

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).

Season the salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Bake the salmon on a lined baking sheet for 25–30 minutes, or until fully cooked and flaky.

In a bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, Dijon mustard, dill, oil, salt, and minced garlic. Stir until well mixed.

Once salmon is done, remove from oven.
Layer thin lemon slices over the top, then spoon the sauce evenly over the lemons and salmon.

Serve warm and enjoy!
