Highland Avenue is a major throughway and an extremely busy street that feeds into multiple freeway systems.  It’s a multi lane mini highway.  The disadvantages of living on Highland Ave is the traffic – noise, pollution, kid + pet safety, difficulty getting in and out of your driveway.  The advantages of living on Highland Ave is value – more house and more yard for less money.

Prices on Highland used to be in the mid $1.5 million range until quite recently.  That changed at the end of 2015 when a brand-new-from-the-ground-up house sold for a little over $2.5 million.
