As a Los Angeles real estate agency, we get to know the “best kept secrets” in and around Los Angeles! Our agents spend quite a bit of time getting to know the area. We also pick up tips from LA longtime residents. Cherry-picking is a fun tradition that’s possible due to our amazing SoCal climate. Some of the best produce in the country comes from California, and cherries are no exception.

Nothing smells summer like fresh-picked cherries! The last week to go cherry picking was the end of June at Villa del Sol Sweet Cherry Farms. Every season is unique, but the Leona Valley cherries generally are available at the end of May and last until mid-July. There’s a breeze and lots of shade from the cherry trees. Lots of fun!
