Iām super excited for our open houses today – 2 new listings that just went live and are open for the first time today from 2 to 5 pm – 1439 Carmona and 18055 Coastline #1! 959 S Longwood was just freshly painted entirely inside, including the kitchen cabinets, so itās worth a second look because itās a special property on an extra big lot on the stream! 535 N Formosa is now fully vacant because the tenantsā lease ended, so it is easy to show and a great offering!
1439 Carmona is a single story move-in-ready Spanish house with 3 beds, 3 baths, and a garage converted to a man-cave/gym with a half bath. Itās on a quiet tree-lined street just south of Pico near Picfair Village. The house was entirely updated – plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roof, windows and skylights. The floor plan and flow is great – with a living room on one side, dining room on the other, kitchen right behind the dining room, 3 beds and 3 baths behind the public rooms, and laundry in the hallway right in between the bedrooms. The backyard is spacious with both hardscape and artificial grass. Our sellers are good friends with our sellers who used to live right next door. We sold their neighborsā house listed for the same price for way over asking. I love that their neighbors, Arjun and Andrea, recommended us to their friends, and Iām so excited to start to show the house today!
18055 Coastline has the most mesmerizing spectacular views all day long! The property is unique because itās a condo in one of two buildings that have a total of 8 condos, built in 1976. Each condo was built with a massive porch, with incredible expansive ocean views, that extends across the whole length of the living space so that all the rooms that abut the porch – living room, office, master bedroom, master bath – have floor to ceiling glass doors that open up to the porch and have amazing ocean views, and the rooms behind – dining, kitchen – were built with views to the porch and ocean, so from almost every space you can see the water and the sky, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, dolphins that play in front of the building, and pelicans diving for fish. The pictures of the sunrise and sunset posted in our listing were all taken personally by the owner and we included them to share the ownerās personal collection and experience. I love these sellers. We sold their house in Hancock Park about 3 years ago and we helped them buy this condo then. They have the best taste and incredible attention to details. Their house in Hancock Park sold in multiple offers over the asking price and weāre anticipating the same for the sale of this condo, which works for someone who will live in it as a primary residence or for someone who is looking for a vacation home near the beach! Itās cool that as an extra bonus this property comes with free passes to The Getty Center and also passes for free beach parking. I canāt wait to start to show this property today too and to find the lucky buyers!
959 S Longwood just got a refresh with new paint inside, including the kitchen cabinets. The owners have found a new house in another city they want to buy and theyāre ready to get this house sold. The upstairs was entirely taken down to the studs and redone so itās fresh and new. The park-like yard is serene and does not feel like living in LA. Iām excited to show this house again today!
535 N Formosa is the best offering in the Miracle Mile area right now. With a 7700 sq ft lot and a spacious house with extra large entertaining space in the living and dining rooms that open to one another, this house is a great deal for someone who wants to live in the house and also for someone who wants to build on the large lot. It has great Spanish curb appeal from the street and itās in a prime central location surrounded by great neighbors. The house is easy to show any time now that the tenantsā lease ended, and itās open today from 2 to 5 pm for those who are ready to see it now!
The Jewish holidays this month are a special opportunity to bond with family and also an opportunity to think and reflect. I love to travel and in my past years travels I hit bucket list dreams like skydiving, scuba diving, paragliding, cliff jumping, hikes along the Cinque Terre and along the coast in Santorini. But my biggest and hardest-to-check-off bucket list items were always in the category of personal development – continuing to grow as a spouse to my husband, a mom to my kids, a mother-in-law to my in-law kids, a leader of my company, a mentor for my junior agents who look up to me to learn and grow, and continuing to grow as a real estate agent for my clients and the people/properties I have the immense honor to represent.
Whatās fascinating to me as I spend time reflecting over the holidays is that even though Iām overwhelmed with love in my role as wife/ mom/mother-in-law/grandma, and that role brings me immense joy, and I also sincerely relish and love my role as a leader/mentor to the people in my company, in 15+ years of working in real estate my passion for listing and selling houses has only grown. I talk to colleagues who dream of transitioning out of personally selling properties and I really donāt. I dream of continuing to iterate, innovate, and keep learning and growing to do a smarter, cooler, better job for the people and properties we represent. I love selling houses and I think some goals related to selling houses will always have a place all the way at the top on my bucket list.
Iām so excited for my son, Dovid, to get married next week. I canāt wait to celebrate my familyās milestone with all our clients and friends next weekend before the wedding and into next week on his special day. The very best thing in life are people, and the biggest blessings are all the special people in life – family, friends, and clients I love. Iām excited for everyone to celebrate with us, and Iām excited to keep celebrating each other’s special occasions all together for years to come!
Wishing everyone a spectacular exciting end to our month of holidays this week and a spectacularly exciting transition back to regular life and work when the holiday season ends!
Xoxxoooxo,
Sheri
