Taking the shuttle boat across Jenny Lake and hiking to Hidden Falls and Inspiration point is a must do for hikers wanting a spectacular several hour adventure. The boat drops you off at the trailhead. It’s a .6-mile moderate climb to Hidden Falls followed by a steeper .4-mile climb to Inspiration point. Up there you get a great view of Jenny Lake below, and you can see the glacial moraine that formed it. The shuttle departs every 15 minutes from the Jenny Lake boat ramp during summer. It’s very common to see wildlife along the trail. It’s 1.8 to 5.8 miles round-trip.
