We’re ready to launch 1038 S Stanley and it’s a really great deal at 1.2 for a 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath house with lots of character and charm, set high above the street, with a garage that’s additional living space. As our city goes back into lockdown, all of our houses that are active for sale and for lease right now are vacant. Low interest rates and unbelievable loan products can present an opportunity for those who avail themselves of them. For those who currently have a loan, it’s worth a call to see if rates can be refinanced to go lower since interest rates keep going down. For those who have a veteran relative or roommate or some connection to someone who is a veteran, Old Navy Credit Union is lending with 5% down. A client of ours is looking into buying a single family house for 1M with just 50,000 down where the rent will cover the mortgage payment and all of the mortgage will be deductible because it’s an income producing activity and the house will be depreciable and it will have cash flow. It’s also prudent for everyone to check in with their accountant before the year ends to figure out ways to plan in advance of tax laws possibly changing in the new year. There are limits to mortgage deductions and property tax deductions and it makes sense to plan and if at all possible to position finances differently and better. Knowledge and planning always goes a long way!
