Dovid and Avigail welcomed a new baby girl, named Nechama after My Mom, last Sunday afternoon! Feeling like we couldn’t wait and we needed to meet our new little granddaughter right away, Seth and I drove right to the airport to fly to NJ, and we landed on Monday morning at 5 am. It was so fun to have early breakfast with our son, to pick up a nice lunch for our lovely daughter-in-law, and to spend happy time in the baby shop choosing a soft pretty pink layette (wrapped up in boxes with bows) for the beautiful Little Princess! Seth and I sat in the hospital room with Dovid + Avigail for 2 hours oohing and aahing over the baby, snapping iphone pictures from every angle & texting them to each other to see, and mostly just savoring + relishing the unbridled joy of sharing the magical moment together! And then it was right back home and to our beds to sleep Monday night! Woohooo it’s now Passover time, our most favorite time of the year! Gavriel and Rika arrived!!! Gavriel keeps saying, “Wow we don’t even have to be on Facetime!” The way Rika arrived, squealing + jumping into our arms with a big laugh and “GRANDMA” “GRANDPA” is my best thing in life!!
