4 c flour
2 sticks butter
3/4 c milk
1/2 c water
1 oz yeast (2 or 3 packets dry rapid rise yeast)
1/2 c sugar
2 yolks
pinch salt

melted butter
around 1 cup sugar
around 1/3 cup cocoa
vanilla sugar
Place 2 c flour in a stand mixer with yeast and sugar.
Warm milk, water, butter (butter doesn’t have to melt) in a saucepan. (should be hot but not boiling)
Add warm mixture to flour.
Mix 2 minutes in mixer until well incorporated.
Add rest of flour, yolks and salt. Mix very well.
Let rise 1 1/2 hours until at least doubled in size.
Roll out dough as thin as possible and spread melted butter on top.
Sprinkle sugar-cocoa mixture and vanilla sugar on top.
Put in buttered pan and let rise 1 1/2 hours.
Bake in a 350 oven for 1 hour.
