Mazel Tov! It’s a Grandson! 👶 🎉 – TBG Update 8/23/2022

I’m excited for our two new listings! 525 Sycamore #318 is a 1 bed/1 bath condo in a great building with pool, spa, key fob entry, secure gated parking, and extra large windows that make for tons of sunshine everywhere in the space. The unit was remodeled in 2013 and it’s move-in ready. The sweet owner relished her time at the property; she’s selling because she’s moving from her starter digs into a house! 6669 De Longpre is a 3,380 sq ft duplex in the heart of Hollywood with 2 beds/1bath in each unit. It has extra high ceilings, super spacious public rooms, lots of character, and so much off-street parking in the backyard. The upstairs unit is vacant and ready for a new owner to occupy the sunshine filled centrally located space! The last tenant was a big firm lawyer who brokered many deals in the porch-turned-office while the baby played on the play mat in the grand spacious living room. Surrounded by mature landscaping, and in a central location so close to Runyon Canyon and the 101 freeway, this building is a smart investment that will only appreciate with time.

We have a new lease at 116 S Fuller, available for move-in in October. The character Spanish Miracle Mile house has an amazing large pool + spa in the backyard. There are so many majestic tall swaying palm trees on this property! The location is stellar, walking distance to The Grove and Pan Pacific Park. The tenants loved renting this house…and we’re uber excited for them to own their new exquisite house! The best feeling in life is when good things happen to good people because it feels like everything is right in the world. The widespread trend we’re seeing is people from other areas moving into leases in our area and then buying a house relatively quickly, as they discover they absolutely want to stay!

Historically, the fourth quarter is our busiest of the year, and this year feels like it will be the same! With two listings we’ve been diligently preparing for sale, and four new listings we just took on, and two more listings we’re hoping we get the honor to sell, our team is excitedly bracing for the exciting hustle of getting it done. We’re a team that loves the hyper stimulation of focus, collaboration, attention to detail, and lots of hard work that ultimately leads to incredible results and thrilled recipients of our dedication to high standards. We couldn’t be more excited for the fall season ahead!

Dovid and Avigail had a little boy this week, baby Chaim! Every time a newborn baby is born it’s a mind blowing complete and total miracle! It’s wondrous to hold the little 7 pound guy, to study each feature + all the fingers and toes + the big newborn-slate-gray eyes taking in the brand new world. My favorite parts of life are learning + growing, fresh new experiences, wide-eyed wonder, infinite possibilities + potential, innocence + simple uncomplicated instinctive joy. Babies and little kids embrace all those things! Just as it’s wondrous and miraculous when a new baby is born, I find it just about equally wondrous and miraculous for all the new in-law kids to join and blend into our family.

Winston Churchill said “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.” Our family has grown and changed a lot in the last three years (with new in-law kids and grandkids) and no doubt there are roller coasters of emotions that come with it. But by living through the change, we’re discovering that change is an opportunity for all of us to evolve and to grow as individuals and as a family. A coach once explained to me that periods of transition are like swinging on trapeze bars. To grow, we have to release our grip on the present, well known bar, and move to the new one. It’s scary to release our grip on the old secure bar and hurtle through the air until we find our footing and grab a new bar. The coach explained that the transition zones in our lives are actually incredibly rich places. With all the pain and fear and feelings of being out of control that can come with transitions, they are still the most alive, most growth-filled, passionate, expansive moments in our lives. By giving ourselves permission to “hang out” in the transition between trapezes, and transforming our need to grab that new bar, any bar, and instead allowing ourselves to dwell in the space in between, we give ourselves space to change and we grow. It can be terrifying. It can also be enlightening in the true sense of the word. I’m definitely feeling all the feelings with all the newness and change, and as I hang out in the empty air between trapeze bars, I’m intently focused on the adrenaline of learning how to fly!

Wishing everyone an awesome week!!

Xoxoxo,

Sheri
