Oreos and brownies? What could go wrong!
- 12 Oz Semisweet Chocolate
- 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Margarine
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa
- 2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 4 Large Eggs
- 2 Tsp Instant Coffee Granules
- 1 Tbsp Pure Vanilla
- 15 Oreo Cookies, Broken
- 4-5 Extra Oreo Cookies, Broken
Preheat over to 350 degrees. In a heatproof medium bowl set over a bowl of simmering water, heat the chocolate, sugar, and butter. Whisk until melted and smooth. Remove bowl from heat and let cool.
In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a medium bowl, with the mixer on medium speed, beat the eggs, coffee, and vanilla until foamy.
Blend the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
Sprinkle all but 4 tbsp of the flour/cocoa mixture into the chocolate mixture.
Place the 15 broken Oreo cookies into the remaining flour/cocoa mixture and toss to combine.
Add the Oreo cookies to the batter and stir gently.
Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Place the extra broken Oreo cookies on top of the batter for garnish.
Bake for 35 minutes.
