It was the height of the real estate boom when my wife and I started to look for our first ever condominium unit. But, finding the right place then was also a race against time - mortgage rates and home prices were still low but were slowly rising. We needed an agent who knows the urgency of the situation so that we do not waste time. Josephine was that agent.

First, she is very knowledgeable of the ins-and-outs of the business. Whenever we had questions about the process, she answered them clearly just so we can move on to the next step. asap. She knows what counter-offers and stipulations are "standard," just so we don't have to make an issue of it with the sellers and risk turning them off and backing out (who wants unreasonable demands, right?!)

Second, she is very strategic. She knew what offer would most likely get our offer accepted. We cannot make our offer too low and risk being turned down by the buyer (there was no second chance in a competitive market!) At the same time, we did want to make an offer that was too high and pay more than what the unit was worth.

Third, and most important i think, she is honest and direct. If the property was not a good fit for us, or if our intended offer or demand was unreasonable, she did not hesitate to tell us outright. Honesty is the foundation of trust, and at that point, we needed someone we can trust and who had our best interest in mind.

If you're a first-time home buyer (and even if you're not), Josephine is definitely the best agent to guide you in finding your dream home!
