How We Estimate Your Home’s Value

To come up with an estimate of your home’s value, we use a number of methods and data sources. Unlike online estimator tools, our property value estimates are calculated individually by an experienced, local Los Angeles real estate professional. Our market analysis starts with “comps,” or comparable properties on the market that have sold in the last several months. With the dynamic nature of the Los Angeles real estate market, comps from over a year ago, or from outside your immediate neighborhood, are not going to be relevant. We also take the condition of the property into consideration: did you recently upgrade your appliances? add on a bathroom? invest in solar panels?
