Ingredients:
1 Spanish onion
4 cloves garlic
3 stalks celery.
1 1/2 cups green split peas
1 1/2 cups yellow split peas (rinse first).
1 Tbsp salt
Pinch of black pepper.
1 large potato
4 carrots
2 large zucchini unpeeled
1 tsp dry dill.
Instructions:
Sauté onion, garlic, and celery
Add split peas,10 cups water, salt, and pepper, and cook on low heat for one hour
Blend with an immersion blender until smooth
Add 3 1/2 cups of water, diced: potato, carrot, zucchini, and dry dill
Cook for 1 hour on low heat.
